My forecast for Plymouth is clear skies at 22:00 and onwards so hopefully i will get some seeing done tonight! Anyone else out?

Been out, just spent an hour gawking at :jupiter: , T shirt and shorts, not a pretty sight (me that is :shock: ) everyone knows Jove doesn't wear shorts

Tested my final refinement to my DIY focuser, works a treat.

Cloudy here atm in this part of sussex, got a mate in eastbourne who reckons its going to clear, I have my doubts but I'm ready if it does

Just sitting in my back garden at the moment. Was nice and clear at 10om but has now clouded over. Gonna give it 10mins then head in for a beer!

Yeah set my scope up to jupiter and then nothing but cloud! oh well try again next year.

Eastbourne is apparently clearing, the cloud is breaking up and theres a cooling breeze coming from the east, I'm inland quite a bit from where my mate is, but I'm getting the easterly breeze, so lets hope it pushes through before 2am

2.30 am here in Aylesbury - nothing but thick cloud - giving up and watching The Sky at Night on the 'net 'cos I can't sleep.

Nothing substantial materialised here, got glimpses of brighter stars not a single clear patch.
