IF 64 Mag -4 at 84mm

Trying an experiment to get in closer to the flare... Used the 55-250 at 84mm (Probably getting to the limit of accuracy for the flare with my home made gear) 30 second exposure...

Accuracy looks good to me! Nice catch! I guess the problem with longer focal length is that you won't fit the whole trail in the frame, which won't look as good.

Thanks guys. That's the better of the pair from last night. The other one was a mag -8 but thanks to the clouds looks dimmer, and only half shows... GRRR..

Trev, that's my concern, I think they look good with the lead in and lead out, and given that I'm using a piece of string about 1mm wide, and a scale on the protractor of single degrees, there's too much inherent error for any longer focal length.
