6 inch f15 Refractor Self-build: Light Shroud as Tube?

Just realised yours is an f15, it will be a foot and a half longer than mine, quite a beast indeed.

I still think the drainage tube I used is man enough to do the job, it is very rigid.

Yeah, I did notice that.

I'm still leaning towards an open tube setup, but your point about the pipe is very useful to know as the die is not yet cast.

Unfortunately, I must finish our camper van conversion and a mini-woodburning stove I'm building before I can allow myself to start on the scope.

BTW love the look of your frac - that red lettering against the black is very handsome.
