Skywatcher or William Optics

I would like some help choosing my next telescope please i have two in mind its for the moon and planets

skywatcher equinox 120 :)

or

william optics flt 98 carbon fibre triplet apo :(

Hi Paul.

Bearing in mind that I haven't used either scope, I'd still say go for the Equinox. More light gathering power = more resolution of detail. Reviews show this to be a very nice scope too, though the WO is also a very fine one apparently.

You've obviously narrowed it down from a large selection to get to these two fine performers, so I'd say go with the biggest and get the brightest views.

I would agree.

For Moon detail and good planet views have you considered the Skywatcher 180 Pro (MAK)

Apo like image quality much more aperture for finer details. Just my 2 pennies.

More important though what mount are you using?

i did look at an orion optics omc-140 but i came back to refractors
