That's a great pic. James. Super contrast, and detail aplenty.

Never tire of lunar images. Any info. on the scope and camera used etc.

Details :

C9.25, 2 x barlow, 1800 images approx used in Registax 4.

contrast Only applied to all images....details all in the raw data.

Lumenera 075M - can't beat it for the money.

I believe the waning moon offers the best opportunity for good results. Probably due to the steadier atmosphere in the earlier hours of the morning. I have witnessed some cracking views during those hours too.

yeah, most definately .....

I haven't done any imaging at all during the summer as the Moon is too low to get any results, plus it gives me time to do other things in life

Now the Waning Moon is on the rise it's good to get back into the swing of things again.
