michaelmorris
I'm continuing to setting up my new EQ8 mount on my pier. I would like to move the counterweights in a little on the counterweight arm to bring them closer to the point of rotation. To do this I'm going to need to add another counterweight, but I suspect that adding an extra standard EQ8 10kg counterweight is probably a bit over the top. Does anyone know of anyone who makes 5 or 6 kg counterweights that will fit on the 31.5mm diameter EQ8 counterweight shaft? Thanks

Knighty2112
That's a large counter weight shaft bar diameter. I thought the 21.5mm shaft diameter on my Skytee II bar for counter weights was thick! ?
