Some wide fields at (mainly) dusk

Recommended Posts

Had a session at a reasonably dark (NELM 6.6 on the app) site on Dartmoor this evening, flipping cold I'll say.

Before I started I pitched up with the camera somewhere photogenic for a couple 18mm wide shots at dusk

Then when I was done observing I captured some of Orion at 50mm. I intended to capture a big set of wide data in the proper dark at 18mm on Orion too, but lo and behold I'd left the spare battery at home, sods law.

So they're all single shots (Except the two in Orion) with minimal processing, just some NR and a few tweaks. The wide Orion (to follow due to DSS just giving me a completely blank image) is 5 frames, the 50mm is 75 frames, stacked in DSS and mucked about with in PS.
