Leaving Heq5 in external area

Hi everyone.,

I need some advice in the proper way to leave my heq5 in my porch most of the time.  The main concern is the sun and ocasioal rain.  It gets really hot in here and what can i use to cover it?  I don't image as much as i'd like because it is  pain in the neck to align it every time.  So i want to align once and leave it there and maybe only some alignment adjustments. I plan to leave only the heq5,  without any telescope on it.

Wooden box that sits over it lined with radiant barrier tiles...? I've got a load of rock wool tiles, foiled one side, blackened the other, about 30mm thick, probs 18" x 18" - lined cellar and shed with them - they keep temperatures nice and stable.

thanks Marci, gonna look for a box that fits it inside, or maybe make one.
