Well, new ED120 and January is all but lost with no use at all, hope this is not going to be a pattern

I don't think it's a pattern Jules. I don't have a 120ED and the weather is still pants here.

The good thing with ED glass is you don't suffer fringing so bad. Go out during the day and practice following planes ready for chasing the ISS. Bird / drone watch or just simple spotting. Above all get yourself a HW and solar observe

Thats either the weather or your enthusisam causing that. Not the scope, obviously

It's OK to have a break from the hobby for a while - sometimes it does some good.

Its the weather John, so far 2 clear nights when i was feeling dog rough with man flu, im okay about it, just kinda thinking out loud more than anything
