Just been out with my Dob all good till about after an hour or so my push go computar started to not do latitude  up and down I call it is this because or the frosty conditions outside my scope was getting frost on the sides any info. Please

It's quite likely that the cold has reduced the battery efficiency to the point where the handset is failing.

It was a new battery then it was not showing all the words on the screen

Cold affects the performance of batteries and also LCD displays. Try using the telescope indoors with the same battery to see if works.

hia, the lcd screens on the hand set are rubbish in the cold, some people have a hand warmer strapped to them to help, you can rub the screen lightly and see the display come back (when very cold) for a second but you risk damaging the screen and not very practical. i think this is the only poor thing about computer, try keeping the hand set warm is the best ive managed, cheers
