M31 LRGB concoction

Winters where I live have been rubbish for the last couple of years with frustratingly few opportunities for imaging, this year though I have a cunning plan!  I have joined the Rokinon 135 Team at deep Sky West and intend to use their rgb data with my own luminance, this way I will hopefully be able to complete a few more projects.  However now that I’ve done that Mr Murphy will be sure to take his extended winter break elsewhere this year and I’ll have wall to wall clear skies!

Anyway here is my first attempt at using DSW’s rgb with my own luminance.

RGB is 24 x 300 sec each channel through the Rokinon 135 f2 and QSI583ws.

  Luminance is a two panel HDR mosaic taken through a Borg 71FL and QHY9M, each panel 12 x 60 sec and 11 x 600.

Thanks for looking.

That sure is a concoction of data that has resulted in one hell of an image. The stars are like jewels and the galaxy looks superb. Very very nice.

Thank you both very much, three comments so soon, things are looking up!
