New portable mount head

Just seen this on sale today.

Have asked what the max weigh of the intended scope is, looks a really useful, reasonably priced mount head. Some of the Altair kit is made in Norfolk by a local engineering company and is well made.

I like the look of that... Good price too.. similar to the tele optic mini, however the counter weight, arm and clamp are all extras which bumps up the final cost..

Interesting they don't state it's weight capabilities.. Just type of scope to use...

That looks really good Chris - everything you need out of the box. It states 70ed, 80ed - which is approaching 4kg.  If it's well manufactured and local as you say, could be a great grab and go choice.
