Jupiter and Moons

First chance to get out in ages for me, and certainly my first Jupiter images this year.

The image with the moons was a 2 part composite, rather hurriedly processed in Paintshop Pro.

The closer image was processed in PS.

All images approx 1000/1800 frames captured using Skywatcher ED80 and ToUcam 840 on an EQ5

The closer shot used a TAL 3x Barlow

This is the first chance I've had to image anything for what seems like an age. A combination of bad skies and no free time has left me feeling like I've lost my way around at night :-)

Anyway, SWMBO has given me permission to at least put a foundation in for an observatory... So it looks like the Summer Project may be starting soon (I'm thinking something like a pier and an 8' x 8' roll-off pent roof shed....eventually)
