Go nice with a dark sky, if I had one.

Hoping we will get some RGB shortly, I gather the weather is a bit slow to clear in New Mexico, this year.

Have been reading the thread about the 1600, tempted, but I'm losing the will to live with the state of our skies.
Any kind of mono ccd/cmos is a big outlay for a few nights a year, I want to, but there is that little niggle that says no
about being cost effective.
