Missed that personal call for comments! The cone is a tiddler all wrapped up in the large and fairly indistict "fox fur" neb, the rosette is much smaller, brighter and distinct. Got to admit that at this time of year I could gaze at the heart and soul for a long while.... (once I had finished with the Sadr region and the North America).  Bernard's loop is for transparent nights, but is a real blast when it is visible (especially with the angelfish neb above). I've got a few dozen on my normal  "nebula list", just added sh126 to the "go hunt" list.

I'm hoping for clear nights at the end of the month.

Next time I get some dark I will see if I can eek the cone out, the fox fur is fairly indistinct and nebulous. Estwing, there maybe fewer galactic nebulae out there, but there are some real biggies and they're all unique... galaxies... seen one, seen them all.... ;-)
