Petehog72
Hey all, we have a neximage 5 camera, unfortunatly both of our laptops have an AMD processor meaning we cant use the camera. Does anyone have any info on which processor will allow us to use this camera, its getting very frustrating not being able to use it, we have tried every conceivable we of using it and nothing works, thanks in advance . Steve Ward
You'll need to install the camera driver software first in order for the camera to be 'recognised' by the computer/capture software , seems there might well be issues with some AMD components though . The drivers should be on a disc with the camera , failing that they can be downloaded from here ... http://www.celestron.com/c3/downloads.php?Products[]=

Pete The processor will have no bearing on whether the camera will work or not, it is more likely you don't have the correct camera drivers Bill
kendg
While not a NexImage 5, I have the NexImage Burst color and it works fine with both Intel and AMD processors. Had to install the s/w driver first in both cases.

Petehog72
i found it strange that the processor would cause problems, we invested in another laptop with intel pentium and worked straight away, thanks all for the replies
