Ah yes....  M83.  That was quite possibly the most difficult of the Messiers to see from here.   Fortunately I had a night of excellent transparency but even then this was only an really an averted vision object at such low altitude..  fortunately it has a reasonably bright core!

Good luck with getting a clear night to bag it! :)
