Mars rotation

Last night's sketch when compared to the previous two sketches nicely illustrates the rotation of Mars. Observing from right to left it shows sinus Sabaeus, sinus Meridiani and Margaritifer as they journey across the disk. The last sketch was made under poor seeing conditions and it took some patient observation to pick out the detail when the atmosphere settled momentarily from time to time.
