Moon before and after sunset

Finally had the time to get the moon while it is still light. 

SW200PDS + samsung NX1 +registax

The second is taken shortly after sunset, at a much faster shutter speed with the asi224mc + 2,5x powermate + IR-742.

Great shots both. I always struggle getting a sharp focus on the moon, and it gets worse as the mag increases. That second shot is amazing.

Finding the best focus is always the hard part. I think everybody struggles with that. So do I, sometimes less successfully.
Higher magnification certainly makes it much harder.
