Jupiter 12 to 13th March 2016

The seeing was good and very steady last night, though the mist was starting to form.  I tried two approaches - one with Gamma off Firecapture 2.51, and one with it set at 20.  However I needed to up the noise reduction in Registax 6 with the second condition.   These images were taken with my Celestron C14 @ f/22 with my ZWO ASI 224MC colour camera, stacked with Autostakkert, sharpened in Registax, de-rotated in WINJUPOS. Small tweaks were made in Photoshop CS3. The "Gamma off" image looks a tad insipid:
