New CPC 1100

I just had my CPC1100 delivered today and upon emptying box notice the was no plug into wall power cable, only a cigarette lighter one.  Handy if using a power tank etc but not much use if you want to run it off an extension lead.

 

Any other owners experienced this?

Yup my 800 and 925 only came with ciggy socket leads so no surprise really. I either use a power tank or a regulated 5a bench supply from Maplins (XM20). I also have weather proof fly leads to connect the bench supply from a tent/awning at star parties. Hth and congrats on your new scope.

I had a 13 amp power cable but I think I ordered it as an extra.

You are in for a treat - the CPC1100 is a fantastic scope

my cpc 9.25 only came with a rubbish cigar lighter lead thing as well. mine was realy poor quality, at the zenith the scope used to go mental, traced it back to the lead, they were shorting out inside the plug
