Moody Earthshine

I was trying to catch an Iridium flare at mag -4 with the satcatcher, but is was hiding behind bands of clouds, typical. However, the young moon was out and looking moody with the clouds around.

You may have missed the Iridium flare, but you caught a Lunar Crescent flare.

sometimes something really grabs you, and that pic has grabbed me, i've stared at it several times now trying to think of something to put down

hypnotic is all that comes to mind

astro pics can be a little sterile, but that isn't......
