Really glad I bought some bins!

Due to the awful and unpredictable weather recently, setting up to image has taken a back seat unfortunately.

However, bins to the rescue!

I've just been out between clouds to have a nose about.

Orion Nebula looking good, M45 glistening. Tried to find Catalina but failed.

Betleguese looking so orange, I love it.

I can't see the moon to the west as my back garden faces east, however, laying on the bed looking at the moon through the front window was great, so clear and the earthshine is brilliant.

If you don't have bins (or noculars as one of my nephews calls them!) then get some.

Brilliant for a quick astro fix.
