Jupiter + Io Shadow Transit 13.01.2016

Another extremely early start (3:30am) to get some clear skies. The GRS was beautifully positioned when I set up and very quickly followed by Io's shadow then later Io itself.

Not the best conditions, a very blustery wind at times, but the seeing was reasonable and it was clear!

The usual set up C9.25/ASI120mm 3,5000 frames per channel stacking in PIPP, then A/S2. The RGB's have lined up well apart from where the moons and the shadow are, which is a little disappointing.

Had the added bonus of watching Tim Peak pass over just after 6am as well (Hi Tim)
