Takahashi was a joke, as i saw the price of them and nearly fainted,

Seems it is a good scope if you get grants and are sponsored.

As for Sherwoods i put in a search in google on the ED 80 and that was what came up.

Bought my first Scope from Sherwoods and the first thing he said was how much i had to spend and then gave me a choice of scopes in that price bracket.

When i bought the scope and did not know how to fit it to the mount i got a abrupt reply.

So that is now how i now use FLO.

As you said posting and packaging does come into it and with Sherwoods i did get next day delivery.

All in all FLO is my first choice as they are friendly, give advice and are flexible.

Davey, if you think Taks are expensive then you should see the prices of Questar Maksutovs or the RC scopes..:shock:. Thing is, along with makes like Pentax, they really are top of the line optics. If you want the best, then you have to pay for it.
