SHOW US YOUR OBSY

Had a bike shelter as an obsy for a while. Worked great but wind and cold got me to go for a proper shed..

Nice!

I hope it's not as leaky as mine. I'm having real problems in heavy rain. There are so many places where water can get in.

It now leaks to the point that I have covered it in a tarpaulin. Luckily, I am still able to use it. We're moving house in the summer so the scope will be back on a tripod for a while and that will give me a chance to fibreglass it before returning it to its observatory function.

HAHA! Yes it does ?

I find that having used wood to build it I get no condensation at all and have never had to use dew heaters - not once - I have them installed but I'm going to remove them to use on my field imaging rig ?

Do you find the same with yours?

Likewise. I have never had any condensation or dew build up. I have now taken the dew bands off. I have found some USB dew bands that i am using on my portable set up with a powerbank that works great.

Hi fellow astro peeps. I recently completed my life long dream of a dedicated obsy so here are a few pics from my build.

Plenty more pics on my thread 'A Dream Come True' if you want to see it's build.

Thanks for taking a look.

Lee.
