o111 problem

Hi all,can anyone tell me why this o111 image of m42 turns out like this in pixinsight,it is a 300sec exposure,what am i doing wrong.

Is this raw from the camera or has it been stacked/processed in any way?

If this is raw, then it looks like reflections, if it's stacked, try reverting to default settings and make sure the file output is valid if using DSS and try again.

Hi Dave it is 10 x300sec exposures stacked in pixinsight,scope is ed80t camera g28300 mono, temp-10

Never used PI so may not be much help, did you use calibration frames ? does a single sub look normal before stacking ?

single subs are normal,might give it a go in DSS to see what happens.

Did you get this sorted? That looks like a complete misapplication of flats to me.
