post-45511-0-09049100-1444694536_thumb.jThanks everyone.  I was out again early this morning and decided to try some camera shots of the night sky.  My camera has a 14-140 , f 5.6 lens and I tried some 30 second exposures.  Now I know why people piggy-back their camera on top of their telescopes.  It would be great to take some long exposures with tracking.  I hadn't thought of getting into this but with a 20mm f 2 lens I could probably get some nice wide field night sky shots.

Here is Orion from this morning's episode.... complete with what I think is a satellite trail (upper).

ISO 3200,  41mm,  f 5.6,  13 sec.
