SuperBloodMoonEclipse 2015 - TimeLapse Preview

Hi all,

This is my contribution to the bloodmoon hype for this year :)

This was the first full lunar eclipse I've managed to witness from start to finish, and it was amazing! I had my TS Photo-Line 115mm snapping away with the DSLR and 2x PowerMate, and I've compiled a brief unedited preview timelapse:

Once I have some decent software (anyone know any?) I will make a full HD version of this with a more stable subject, sadly my driveway is heavily inclined so the HEQ-5 couldn't keep itself precisely on-target. Here are a couple of still shots straight from the camera:

Thanks everyone!

PS, the TS 115 Triplet is amazing...

An excellent set.  Well done.  I agree with John.  I'm fairly sure that PIPP will take your raw frames, centre the Moon and produce an AVI of the result.  Not sure how it will handle images that are on the edge of the frame.  You might need to ask Chris (author of PIPP) about that.
