Update and imaging...

Some very few words about my equipment :

Most of my equipment is on the roof of my house.

- My "main" observatory is a 3 m ScopeDome which for the present accomodates my EdgeHd 14", my Paramount ME-II with TSXP, a lot of electronics and its full remote oprated. Up to now the tracking accuracy of the PME-II achieved is about 15" with 250 star calibration and ProTrack activated. Usually in stable nights for subs up to 10 min I don't use the guider.

- My second obsy type installation is a hand made "housing" (about 12 meters away from my main obsy) which protects the permanent installed EQ-8 mount and all the electronics ready to work. The only thing that goes on and off is my Skywatcher BD-120ED which is also ready to rock...

- My main imaging CCD is the Atik11000M.

From December 2014 up to August 2015 major upgrades, changes and fixes have been done to my obsy and a few last ones
are still ongoing. Also many many tests were and some still are in progress for each separate upgrade, change or fix.
Because of this no "serious" imaging data acquisition had take place. Finally "dedicated" imaging tests have started and some very promising test results have been acquired.
I'm happy to share them along with a couple of "prior to upgrade" images...

All following images are cropped and reduced in resolution because of MB size.

-- This is my latest test on HorseHead Nebula. Its a 15 subs Ha (B&W) calibrated total of 18 min each.

For this specific test the BD-120ED was on the PME-II in my main obsy. Next run for the same target will be done with the BD-120ED on the   EQ-8. ATik11000m + Bd-120ED + 0.85x SW Reducer/flattener.

-- This is a one and only Ha uncalibrated (as downloaded from the imager) test exposure of IC-1805 (Heart Nebula) at 12 min.

    Atik11000m + BD-120ED (No reducer/flattener)
