Favourite astronomy podcast ?

[hes not well again]

Hi All, I was wondering round itunes looking for an all round news type astronomy podcast and there seems to be quite a lot of them, ranging from general science topics and astronomy to more specific astronomy types. The Naked Scientist used to do one but it seems to have disapeared. As ever when I am indesisive  or faced with too much choice [like when I am faced with 50 different brands of moodily lit toothpaste in the supermarket] I have determined to ask Those Who Know and so here I am.

Another vote for Jodcast, lots of in depth astronomy items based mainly around the science. I also listen to 'At the eyepiece' but it's not a news based podcast, it's for visual astronomers so probably not what you are after.

I have listened to the jodcast and I agree it is exellent, my computer used to download it automatically but seems to have stopped doing it now. Is it still on i tunes?

The Long Now Foundation isn't really astronomy, but there are a few astronomy episodes in the catalogue.

Do any of these actually deal with what's visible in the night sky rather than space news/Rosetta missions etc. (about which I'm not overly interested).

I think the Jodcast has a section on the night sky for that month and what to look out for, found it quite helpfull
