  1. Following the twitter feed of S@N. They are still working on it so its fully up to date with what been going on in the last 7 days.
  2. There is a very good book about this subject called "The eerie silence". Its worth a read and talks about some very interesting things about why we haven't spotted anything yet.
  3. 11000 ft Ice mountains, smooth surfaces. Possible new discoveries on how planets generate heat. What time to be alive! And on Charon that really interesting feature to the top right and a round its middle.
  4. Check out http://astronomy.fm/ most of the best podcasts to be found there. Also check out http://www.startalkradio.net/and

  10. Hi Steve the pub lights are pretty much at the front of it. The only real light issue is a cabin that acts as reception. They have a field at the far end of the site that is dark. Had a couple nearly walk in to me and my scope last time we pitched there . Price is 15 I think for tent and two people. Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk 2
  11. Carry on down a bit and you get The Green which Ive been using for over 20 yrs, pub onsite and hook ups, The Bridge is a nice pub though by the Brow Farm. The skies there are very clear, one of the only places Ive been where you can see the Milky Way, You can not go wrong in this area, they is a little bit of lp towards Shrewbury but it doesn't affect your viewing. also about 40 min drive away at most is this place http://www.spaceguarduk.com/ great place .
  12. I signed up yesterday as well. Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk 2
