Some lunar snaps

Atik 16HR mono on the Tal 200K through a Ha filter. (Used as it works like a moon filter as well as curing a little bit of the wobbly seeing, allegedly.)

These were supposed to turn into a mosaic for a full disc, but the lumps that aren't here went too wobbly to get anything out of them. Each pane has a minimum of twenty shots, but the first image above is three frames, the second is two frames and the last one is unstacked.

I was going to slap the 4X on and hit the straight wall for a session, but it wasn't having any of it.

You've done well there KK, had a look myself last night shortly after the rain and before bed, saw the "moondog" and thought best leave it alone ! Really like those though KK !!

They're real nice shots mate. Good detail - pane 3 is pretty glorious 8)

Excellent crisp images KK.

The TAL gives you good image scale with the 16HR.

Pity the wobbly seeing did for the proposed mosaic.

Great moon shots KK . It's nice to be spoiled with 2 nights of clear skies in a row (especially for Huddersfield).

Back to normal now though , chucking it down again.
