Jarvo
Right I'll post this one in the right area This is a Mosaic I put together last night of a series of shots of the crescent moon on 08/04/2008.(click to enlarge)Kit used:6" Skywatcher Pro Mak2 x Apo AE BarlowOlympus E410 DSLRProcessed in Coral Paint Shop Pro.Slight mismatch in some of the joints. Trouble with the MAK is the focussing. Its tricky to get sharp focus when using a DSLR ...anyone any tips??Jarvo

Sam
Very nice image! Good job and getting the exposure right - I took a picture at about the same time and it turned out rubbish! Focusing a DSLR is quite tricky.

Jarvo
Thanks for the comments guys.Starflyer, I used Coral Paint Shop Pro. And yes focussing is a real pain - especially with a "Mak"......Jarvo
Starflyer
Hi Jarvo,Have you given iMerge a go, I find it very easy to use for mosaics compared to trying to put them together with an image editing package.http://www.geocities.com/jgroveuk/iMerge.htmlI also find that small crescents are much harder to get good focus on than when a larger area is illuminated. A great image - keep 'em coming Cheers,Ian
