ultramol
Took this the other night during a rare alignment of my limited view back garden, clear weather and the correct phase of the moon. Any comments to improve myself will be greatly appreciated......GeoffI know there are some dust spots on the image from my optics but my pc with photoshop on it is out of action at the moment so I could not remove the dust with the healing brush..( or clean my optics )

michael.h.f.wilkinson
Nice result. You could of course take flats to get rid of the dust bunnies. I always feel that works better than postprocessing tricks

StarSapling
Nice image. I like how you caught both Farenheit and Picard Y. I use these two small craters to judge seeing conditions when I observe the young Moon. If I can see these craters well, I know I can up the magnification.
