The Sun - 21st Feb 2015

I think February may have heard me diss-ing it yesterday as I woke up to unexpected clear blue skies. Sun clears the tree line by 09:30 these days so an early-ish imaging session commenced. Tricky getting focus today with so few small spots. I usually just focus using the LCD on the 1100D but I couldn't see any spots via Live View today so had to break out the laptop and focus via EOS Utils.

May get the PST out for a look in a bit but feeling a bit the worse for a night out last night

Tough time focusing? more spots, we need more, bigger spots.  Nice clean disc and crisp.

Great job on the focus, David, small little details is nice sometimes, just hope the sun doesn't make too much of a habit of it for a while yet!

Hope that the far side monitor is suggesting things will be picking up soon.
