My very first deepsky photography

Hi everybody ! First of all, sorry for my poor english, I hope you'll understand

I wanted to share with you my first deepsky photography ! And of course, I'd like to read your advices to improve my "technic".

I introduce you M42, fresh from tonight ! I used deepskystacker for stacking and iris for the post-process. 30 frames (25'' each at 800 iso), 10 dark, 10 offset, no flats.

For the gear, I just bought a Celestron 8 SCT, with an AVX mount (I bought an ASI120MC too, for planetary imaging). The DSLR is my little Canon 700d. I used a focal reducer F/6.3 on the scope. 

Can't wait to try another target, and far from the lights next time (I took this picture just to try the gear, from my balcony).

Do you have any recommandations to improve the future results ? I found very difficult to obtain nice colors at the process, red in particular...

Great first effort well done - as stated more lights - longer subs and the like are the first objectives you should add to your checklist
