Orion with the Skywatcher Star adventurer.

Picked up a Skywatcher star adventurer off fleebay a few months ago. Had my first night out with it. Its a cracking bit of kit. I had it all setup and imaging in under 5 mins. This image is with a modded Canon 1100d and the nifty fifty lens. I cant wait to try it out a a dark site. 6x5minute subs. No calabration frames. Hope you like.

Nice Orion- the modded camera works wonders for the Ha. Can't wait for a dark sky version.

With a bit of extra processing (gradient removal & colour balance work) your data looks even better.

Nice Orion, some more subs and you should be able to pull out all the fine nebulosity as well.

Very nice sir. Out of interest what did you have the nifty stopped down to?

It was stopped down to f/3.2 but looking at the stars, I wish i had stopped it right down.

Yes i had the same problem with the nifty and found the stars in the corners were rather odd shaped even out at f4.

Gradient removed with the RC Astro Gradient XTerminator pluggin for Photoshop Elements

Green cast removed with HLVG pluggin

Final bit of 'colour shifting' in the Hue/Saturation tool of Photoshop Elements.

I don't have that plugin. I tried dbe in pixinsight, gradient removal in Annie's astro action. Didn't touch it. Cheers for that.

DBE in pixinsight will remove that gradient no problem , perhaps a you need to work on the setting a bit

Just place a few samples by hand around the image say 25 and then I set the tolerance to 1.5
