Saturn from Easter Monday

Two weeks of cloud and rain and it actually cleared for a bit. Except for the gusting winds of course.

Just long enough for a couple of Saturn captures and this is the best (?).

However, you can never have enough cloud and I was soon driven indoors again.

I agree that every session definitely adds to the experience. If my cat could talk she would have a good supply of oaths to use!

The sky was clear for a few hours but it was windy of course hence the 'onion skin' effect on the finished image. The damn thing was doing a merry dance on the laptop screen so getting enough steady frames wasn't easy.

The lovely Carol on Breakfast TV was suggesting more cloudy weather to come down here. I just wish she didn't seem so bleeding cheerful about it.

Nice result Geoff. I tried Saturn on Monday too, but I had to give up as I couldn't get more that 3 or 4 seconds worth of calm air at a time.
