10" dob vs Nexstar SE 6

Basically these 2 scopes are the same price...I find myself pulling my hair out over which one to get.  I love the idea of having an easily portable scope and something that can take basic pictures of solar system items (plus go-to!).  I also love the idea of having a monster than can pick up DSOs.  Is it common for folks to have both a Dob and something else?  Maybe looking at a 5 year plan here, haha.

I think its down to what's affordable in the long term, what you want to view or image or do both at the same time.....

Yes quite normal to have more than one scope.

dobs are so easy to set up...and yes its ok to make your shed look like an Astro shop!
