The Angel NGC 2170: NGC 2170: Still Life with Reflecting Dust in Monoceros

Hi guys,

8.5 hours from the Negev Desert yielded the angel floating among clouds of dust.

A challenge to process such that the delicate arms of the angel come through, along with the magenta-red flare and delicate clouds of brownish dust...

I'm finally happy with it - time to let if fly

Nice image Harel, there are a lot of bright stars in the fov that make the processing of this object tricky.

Must be dark out in that desert, seeing hints of brown dust as well

Cracking image Harel, the colours and nebulosity are superb. A few halos around some of the brighter stars, but that's to be expected with 15 min subs in LRGB. Not often we see this target, so very well done on a tricky task.
