Strathspey 15 x 70's - knocked !!!!

Recommended Posts

I have knocked my 15 x 70's and now I cannot get perfect focus on both sides at the same time - individually yes but together - no!!

I guess its collimation that been 'adjusted' ??

Is there anything I can do myself ?? I cant see any collimation screws??

Or is it beyond the scope (no pun) of an amateur and will require overhaul at the factory???

Any advice most welcome.........

You can accomplish what is called "conditional alignment" for your eyes only.

It takes optical equipment to "collimate" a binocular so that it is aligned through out the entire IPD range of the hinge.
