Horse Head from Kelling 2014

my best effort so far !

was taken at the end of a long night at Kelling this Autumn but had to stay up and get a shot of it as i`d been waiting for it since getting the mono ccd and narrowband filters, about 1 hours worth of Ha,

Very well done! I know how elusive the Horsehead can be. You stated, on the image, this was done in Ha? Would you know the wavelength of this filter?

indeed i do, it`s the Baader 7nm version, would love to get a astronomik 6nm or a astrodon 3nm but these prices are alittle out of my reach at the moment L.O.L.

forgot to add that this image is the jpeg version for easier uploading to the net, the tiff version looks smoother.

That's looking lovely, lots of detail coming out of the clouds. The Horse Head is one of my favourites, though I always think it's more of a seahorse or a cobra than a horse!

I find that a .png works much better than a JPEG file on here. Give it a try.
