Is it possible to run two instances of Cart Du Ciel on one Pc?

Yes, it says so in the installation instructions:

...It is possible to install the Cartes du Ciel-SkyChart version 3.0 over a full Windows version 2.76 in the same directory, and run the Cartes du Ciel-SkyChart 2.76 version apart from the 3.0 version...

unless you mean two instances of 3.8 ??? with different config files?

No problem to run multiple instances of the same version, I have 3 monitors and drag n drop all the time whilst displaying different info on each. Although I use the center screen for telescope control.

Here 2 instances on the same laptop, note the different info displayed.

Thanks for the replies.

I have just come back from the Observatory and tried it.

In the Observatory setup menu I put EQ6 and Mesu at the end of my location name so as not to be confused.

Works a treat.

My wii controller does the slewing and syncing on the EQ6 and the focus controls on the MEsu.

I ran an active 10 meter and 5 meter USB lead underground from my garden pier to the observatory. At the garden pier end I have a powered usb hub and all is working smoothly.

I now control both the Mesu and the EQ6 from the Observatory via the Wii hand Controller.
