Determination and patience , that's all you need on a day like this ...  :rolleyes:

The forecast lunchtime clear patch never arrived but it thinned a little as I got home , exposures right down at 1/40s to cut through the grey , found 12 to play with from the 300 shot ...  :p

as i drove to work this morning it was extremely foggy and overcast, but then i got a very short thinning of the fog/clouds. the first thing i thought was that was a big enough gap for Steve to get an image, close ups though :grin:

very nice image as well Steve, those new regions look really interesting for the weekend. that assuming the weather allows us to.

What a cracker Steve. I have my [now] annual solar viewing session at our village show tomorrow and it is really nice to see such great activity in white light. Hopefully it will be as good as this for me tomorrow.
