I tried this Crater with a 1.66 / 2x / 3x ... wasn't happy with the last 2, but

the 1.66 produced a nice image with the edge of the Moon showing as well.

Because its so near the limb(ish), the image always just so slightly shakes so i've never really

got a decent one at a decent size.

Such a detailed Crater, and would be fantastic if you get a shot of it face on....lovely wall ripples !

PS : 60fps, 1200 frames (usual equipment).

JJ, that's a nice capture. It might be good to get it face on, but I think the shadows etc in the background add to the shot as the landscape "falls away".

Must have suffered quite a bombardment way back when.

Hi,

I always take 2,000 frames no matter what im imaging. On this image

I used approx 1200, so I lost 800 frames in total.

As long as I have over 1,000 im happy as its doesn't affect the image too

much when you apply the wavelets in Registax.
