Video stitching software?

I'm looking for a quick way of simply selecting a whole bunch of video files, press a button and the software automatically stitches all of them in to one long video.  I've tried it with Windows Movie Maker, but it wants me to import each video one at a time then individually drag them to the time line. With 42 video to stitch together from just one night's meteor imaging, I want something much simpler.

Any ideas (preferable free or uber cheap)?

PIPP can do that and its free

Thanks for the link.  I can see it produces time lapse videos, but I can't see how it helps me (unless I'm being stupid of course  ).

I don't want to put together a time lapse from stills.  I simply want to stitch together a series of short videos into one long video.

if you set it to Join mode on the loading screen it will output one long video
you may want to check the other setting to make sure its not cropping or doing any other process you don't want

I use it to combine video clips to make multiple short captures on planets which I re center for each run
to make a longer video (more frames) before I run the video into Registax to get the most good frames in one hit
rather than a lot of shorter video files

select the files you want to join in the order you want to join them
select Join and set an output, it should do what you want
