Just had a look a the gong site and it does look like that large filament

Think that area of the limb will look impressive over the next couple of days then ( unless it erupts?)

This is typical of what I love about solar observing  from nowhere to the most beautiful prominence.

If it hasn't come this side of the limb yet we will be in for a real treat when it does

Unfortunately the clouds have returned but with zero set up time I will be back outside if the opportunity arises.

Brief look through the haze very early, then cloudy all day.

And now Bertha has come calling our way - absolutely persisting down!

(No, that's not predictive text - it's maintaining standards ...)

Looks like it may be a couple of days at least before the Coronado sees daylight again.
