what a good night 04/08/14

had a great night last night, with my boy in the garden,viewed all the usual bright dso,s just to keep matthew interested, but couldnt believe how steady the skys were, the veil was amazing with the oiii east and west, the dumbell was proper 3d like  even my boy said wow, but never have i seen the ring and m13 at 320x and it could of took a lot more,the only thing was it was a bgo so there was lots of seperations in the cross

I had a similar night a few nights ago Mike.  It clouded over at the dark site, by the time I got home it was clear so I just sat in the garden for a while with a beer eyeballing the Milky Way.
