My 1st go at this object, always loved its appearance, tho a ccd with ha filter will no doubt raise the level a bit.

Ill be back when ive got my atik-16ic.

Anyway, modded 350d, 13 mins only @ 800/1600 ISO, C9.25 with 6.3 F/R, Neodym filter, +- 1 mins subs, 1 flat, no darks or bias.

Pretty pleased with the result.

Yup youve go the Bubble there. :D

With only 13 mins of data the image was going to suffer,I have always been advised to get at least a hours worth of data on any Dso as a minimum to improve the signal to noise (and thats in mono :D).

Looking forward to the next one.

thanks for the confidence vote guys :D

Looking very good Kevin with nice round stars. Obviously needs more time

Hey Martin

guess what :D

I've had nearly a week of clear skies here, and last night was really the penultimate, my imaging jumped to the next level up - i got my autoguiding finally working down to +- 0.5 arcsecs, pinpoint stars for 300s + and imaged M101 and NGC7635 for over an hr using DSLR focus remotely. Ill be posting the images later today after ive processed them, but heck what a diff expsoure and no of subs make!! I've been battling with 1-2 min subs and only imaging for 20 mins on DSOs - 1hr + really takes the quality to a new level eh?

What a pleasure, woohoo :hello1:

onwards and upwards here I comet(h) !!
